Okay, since this scene was in the preview, I think it’s okay to post it on the first day without any sort of warning. And I only talk about this scene in my comments. But for the record, SPOILERS FOR BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT #4 PREVIEW.

So, Bruce and Diana had their first substantial interaction in the DCnU, and I can’t say I’m particularly happy with it. 

The Pros:

• Bruce asks Diana for help. 
• Bruce ASKS DIANA FOR HELP.
• This is definitely progress for him.
• Diana says that she’s unavailable at the moment. 
• Which means she might appear in future issues.
• Fingers crossed, please.

The Cons:

• Diana is too busy to help Bruce.
• She doesn’t appear again in this issue.
• She’s actually kind of mean to Bruce.
• I mean, it’s fine that she’s busy, but the whole “your fault” thing is kind of mean.
• And not at all like Diana.
• She’s probably the most empathetic person in the DCU.
• Then again, this is the DCnU, not the DCU.
• Ugh.
• Bruce calls her “Wonder Woman,” not “Diana” or “Princess.” 

#the art is pretty but she really doesn’t look like Diana

Probably because those are literally the proportions of a child. She looks like she belongs on Toddlers and Tiaras.
