lol omg I hate my home videos so badly, I just want them all burned. Also your softball experience seems similar to mine.

gaaaaaaaaaah, like if something actually happened on them, maybe it would be interesting? I am such a ridiculously nostalgic creature at all times, so I should be lapping it up. But it’s literally just a video of me standing. sighing. wishing something would happen. much like current me is doing.

Also omg, I resented so much that my mom made me stop playing baseball and play softball instead, because “you’re too old to play with the boys now, they’re getting stronger than you, those boys will hurt you.” The softball team was disastrously bad. And several things about softball just pissed me off generally which made me even more cranky. Why did they make us play with a bigger ball that didn’t go as far when hit and was harder to catch? And then make us pitch that ball all weird and underhanded? why did everything about softball sabotage my ability to play softball, why couldn’t girls just play baseball?

I had a lot of feelings about this in middle school.
